Source:
The recombinant Human Transferrin R/CD71 Protein, (amino acids Cys89-Phe760) fused with a hFc tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.
Molecular Weight :
The recombinant Human Transferrin R/CD71 protein with the hFc tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 101.8 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 105-115 kDa based on Bis-Tris PAGE result.
Activity:
Immobilized recombinant Human Transferrin R protein with the C-hFc tag at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Biotinylated Anti-Transferrin R Antibody protein with the C-hFc tag with the EC50 of 26.3 ng/ml determined by ELISA (QC Test). The affinity constant of 0.1 uM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).
Purity :
>95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.
Endotoxin:
LevelLess than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.
Formulation :
Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human Transferrin R/CD71 Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
