Source:
The recombinant Human LIF R/CD118 Protein, (amino acids Gln45-Ser833) fused with a His tag at the C-terminus, was produced in HEK 293 cells.

Molecular Weight :
The recombinant Human LIF R/CD118 protein with the His tag at the C-terminus has a predicted MW of 90.5 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 115-130 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result.

Activity:
Immobilized recombinant Human LIF protein with the C-His tag at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/Well) on the plate. Dose response curve for the recombinant Human LIF R protein with the C-His tag with the EC50 of 0.30 ug/ml determined by ELISA (QC Test). The affinity constant of 0.662 uM as determined in SPR assay (Biacore T200).

Purity :
>95% by SEC-HPLC and SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions.

Endotoxin:
LevelLess than 1 EU per ug of protein as determined by LAL method.

Formulation :
Lyophilized from 0.22 um filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.

Reconstitution:
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized recombinant Human LIF R/CD118 Protein in sterile H2O to a protein concentration not less than 100 ug/ml. Centrifuge the tube before opening.
